It was a sloppy day on the slopes for inner tubers at St. Patrick's County Park, but that didn't stop people from visiting on the final day of the season Sunday.
The winter weather this season led to some challenges for the park. They were only open a handful of days and attendance was just as sporadic. They reached an all time low of 15 tubers one week and another week they had over 400 on the slopes. Still, tubers enjoyed their last chance to tube.
"In the middle hill there was this big bump and I was totally airborne on it," says tuber Bella Rondinelli.
"The hill is just going to make it until quitting time. We've already been patching a lane all day and you can see it's rubbed down to the grass and mud at the bottom," says KC Nieboer, Supervisor at St. Patrick's County Park.
If there is any significant snow days after this then the park will groom ski trails for those to use their own equipment.
