Courtesy: WKVI Radio16 people, including 14 children, were taken to the hospital after an accident involving a school bus Monday morning in Knox.
Witnesses told Knox Police the bus was crossing US 35 at Lake St. when a flatbed truck ran a red light and crashed into to side of the vehicle.
IU Health Starke Hospital says 14 children on the bus have been released. Some of the children were treated for minor bumps and bruises. IU Health says the adults were released later in the day. The truck driver was not injured in the crash.
Knox Police are investigating the accident.
An earlier version of this story said there were 17 people were on the bus, including 15 children. IU Health Starke updated the number taken to the hospital later in the day.
