The mother accused of neglect after her two children died in a hot car in 2011 will be retried for the charges.

A jury could not reach a decision on the case Jacqueline Wilk. The children of 25-year-old Jacqueline Wilk of New Carlisle died in June of 2011 after getting locked in a car trunk.  Wilk was charged with two counts of Neglect of a Dependent in May of last year.

On Monday, the judge set a new trial date for May 28.  Following the trial, defense attorney Brendan Lahey had told FOX28, "We're disappointed that we did not get a verdict however we wish to thank the jurors for their service. It's a very hard job and we're glad they were able to do it."
