Art students at Ivy Tech South Bend are putting their skills on display.
The school's annual before and after art show began Monday.
The show features two pieces of art from students, one from their first day of art class and another showing their skills later in the semester.
Faculty hope the public and other students see the improvement and are inspired to take an art class.
"It's inspiring for them to see how much progress they have made, a lot of people think that when you take a beginner drawing class you need to already be skilled and you don't," says Katharin Schmidt who teaches art at Ivy Tech.
The art show runs through March 22nd.
