Rain and sleet is on the move over Michiana this morning. Steady showers continue to travel north they should make it to South Bend late this morning, bringing sleet and possibly some freezing rain as well. The showers then change to rain after lunch.
They'll stay steady through the day with possibly even heavy rainfall moving through early this afternoon. We then see the rain gradually turn to snow during the evening drive home from work.

With the snow expected to continue through the overnight into Wednesday morning, we could see some school closings in the area.
Though the storm coming our way is expected to generate some snow and ice, we should not see blizzard-like conditions, and wide-spread power outages are not likely.
