If you want to weigh in on INDOT's proposed plans for U.S. 33 Tuesday is the day to do it. That's when people in Goshen will meet to discuss the project.
INDOT says it wants to make the highway more efficient for drivers. To do that, officials believe they could go one of two ways.
They're considering building an underpass or overpass for east-west traffic or building a north connector road that would run along nearby railroad tracks and make for fewer stops on U.S. 33. The second option would impact 40 nearby properties.
The meeting will be held at the Rieth Interpretive Center at 410 West Plymouth Avenue in Goshen and it will start at 5:30 p.m. There's no word on how long the meeting is expected to last but the public is invited to weigh in on the issue.
As soon as we learn more about this project we'll bring you more on air and online at FOX28.com.
