The city of Goshen continues to discuss possibilities for the US 33 project.
Tuesday a public meeting was held for the mayor and city engineer to go over project details and answer questions from the community.
INDOT is hoping to take on the project which could construct an overpass or underpass for east-west traffic to solve congestion problems from train traffic. Or they will construct a north connector road to go along the railroad tracks. Either option will impact a large amount of community members.
"There's a lot of different concerns with the school systems. How's the traffic is going to flow out of town? How it's going to flow in town? Where's the large trucks going to go? How are they going to do it? Allot of different options available, a lot of different decisions to be made," says resident John Keller.
No sure plans are in motion yet. The meeting was meant to inform members of the possibilities.
