Businesses were celebrated Tuesday in St. Joe County.
The Chamber of Commerce held a big event at the Century Center to honor local businesses and celebrate economic success.
We asked the Chamber's president about the current economic outlook in the county.
He says there are some positive signs.
"Still not anywhere near where it was pre-recession," said Chamber of Commerce President Jeff Rea. "But today gives us a chance to really look ahead and think about what the future might look like. Generally there's a lot of excitement in the room. Hopefully we transcend that into excitement in the community."
The Chamber gave out several awards.
Small business of the year went to Foegley Landscaping.
