Walmart is typically known for big discounts but how about big donations?
That's exactly what the retail giant did earlier today making a $50,000 donation to the food bank of northern Indiana.
The donation will allow the bank to buy enough food to feed over 40,000 people.
Walmart says they love making a donation for such a good cause.
"I think we like to be involved in anything that is beneficial to people in need, and obviously the food bank is something like that," says Scott Ruoff of Walmart.
The food bank says donations like these are critical for their mission to continue.
