Road closed due to gas leak in Elkhart

Elkhart Police say a section of Prairie Street is closed between Wolf and Blaine because of a gas leak.

Police say NIPSCO crews have been working to make repairs since Sunday afternoon and hoped to have it finished by the end of the day.

Crews were still working and the road was still closed as of 8pm, Sunday.

Police say no one has been evacuated.
