Immigration reform is a hot topic across the nation.
So students and professors at IUSB brought it close to home.
They held an immigration forum to discuss the different aspects of what a reform might look like.
International students talked about their personal experiences with immigration policies.
They also invited members of the community to join the discussion.
"They're not really aware of what is going on the inside and what it actually takes to get a green card, what the numbers are, so we're hoping to clarify some of those things tonight," says IUSB Assistant Principal, Christina Gerkin.
The goal of this discussion is to stop the mis-information about immigration.
