Winter weather is obviously still in full swing and the flu isn't going anywhere, either.
Health officials say typically, the peak flu season is from January to March.
This year, it started early, in December.
But that doesn't mean it's making it's way out of here earlier.
Doctors say they are still seeing the flu, RSV and other viruses similar to the flu.
"If you look at the national numbers, overall, the trend is down. But it's down from a high level. So we're still seeing a fair among of influenza activity," says Health Officer of Elkhart County, Dr. Dan Nafziger.
Dr. Nafziger says the key to stopping it and protecting yourself, is to cover your cough, stay home if you are sick and that it's not too late to get a flu shot.
