It may not look like it outside but baseball season is right around the corner.
In South Bend minor league baseball tickets went on sale Wednesday for the Silver Hawks.
The team hopes to keep the momentum going -- last year they saw a 68 percent increase in attendance.
Team officials say its exciting to have baseball return to Michiana.
"We're adding a new tiki hut this year, last year we took care of the kids with the splash pad and inflatables, this year we're gonna take care of the adults with an adult playground," says Joe Hart, President of the team.
The Silver Hawks kick off the season on April 4th against the Bowling Green Hot Rods.
