Some area high school students will be learning the value of science and math education on Thursday.
Bethel College is hosting a career fair for more than 100 students starting at 9:00am at the Middleton Hall of Science Building. The students come from Penn High School's Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) academy and other area schools.
"The students scheduled for this event are already in the STEM Academy at Penn, but they need to understand why they are studying the courses they are currently in. They can be tough courses," said engineering instructor Sheri Campeau.
The students will be meeting people currently working in science, math, engineering and technology fields. They will also meet college students currently studying science or engineering at Bethel College.
