Man sentenced for carjacking in 2009

20 year-old Michael Burnett was sentenced to 28 years today for his involvement in a 2009 carjacking and robbery.

This comes after Burnett plead guilty to four charges in March 2012. However, the state did dismiss one charge, felony carjacking.

Burnett and four other men carjacked two Holy Cross students on Notre Dame Avenue.

Four other men involved in this incident..Brion Smith, Donte Jones, Hakeen Hogan and Rashaad Hogan have already been sentenced.
