Students at Penn High school are baking cookies for a good cause.
Cookies for Kids Cancer is an organization that holds bake sales across the country. All of the proceeds go to pediatric cancer research.
Seniors Maddie Lee and Haley Meekhof started the event last year at Penn and raised over $1000.
"We both love baking so it was basically the perfect way for us to give back and then get a big group effort going and just an easy way for us to raise awareness and funds for the research for pediatric cancer," Lee said.
The bake sale will be this Saturday at University Park Mall from 10 to 7.
