Lowe's is raising money for the muscular dystrophy association with the classic MDA shamrocks. Saturday the South Bend store hosted a build your own clinic where about 100 kids built monster trucks with their parents. And with all those extra people in the store they were asking for donations to MDA. A one dollar donation would get you a bag of popcorn and your name on a shamrock. This year Lowes is trying to help one special nine year old boy. "We're raising money for Jacob so Jacob can go to summer camp," said Tom Gilley with Lowe's. And Jacob Zeiger responded by saying, "I think it's awesome cause summer camp is fun."
Lowe's is trying to raise at least 3,000 dollars for Jacob. You can help out and buy a Shamrock at the store until March 31st.
