It may not be your typical competitive sport, but over 150 athletes traveled to South Bend for a Table Tennis Championship.
There were 29 divisions with a range of skill and age, from 10 year old competitors to those over 70.
The goal of the tournament is to expose people to the sport and show off a South Bend club that's nationally recognized.
"It's not expensive to come play at our club. It's relatively injury-free, you can play any day of the year, it's an inside sport. Any age can play and people have fun playing it," says tournament coordinator Brad Balmer.
$4,500 in prizes and 80 trophies were handed out this weekend.
