It's a history lesson that most can enjoy, the history of your favorite sweets.
The Center for History has a new exhibit called "Sweet! The Wonderful World of Chocolate, Candy & Ice Cream."
It features a replica of an old fashioned candy store and a 1950's style soda shop. It also showcases the history of many local candy and chocolate stores.
"You learn a lot when you come through this exhibit. You'll see a lot of photographs of candy stores that were once here and that still are here. You'll learn about candy making and the history of chocolate in the world, but also it's just fun," says marketing director, Marilyn Thompson.
The exhibit is open through the end of the year.
