You probably felt it with the time change. We're still over a week away from the official start of spring but it sure felt like Spring outside today. Temperatures were about 10 degrees higher than average.
It all seems pretty crazy coming days just after a winter storm dumped several inches of snow on Michiana. Wednesday kids were bundled up playing in the snow, Sunday they were on the playgrounds.
And the warm weather made people want to break out their golf clubs. Juday Creek Golf Course tells us due to the snow earlier this week their course was too wet to open Sunday but dozens called asking if they could get in a round of golf. "Oh my gosh! Lots of people, you almost want to put your phone on automatic answer," said Linda Rogers, the owner of Juday Creek Golf Course.
Juday creek is hoping with more warm weather they can open later this week.
But the warm weather isn't helping Swiss Valley Ski area. They were closed Sunday because of it. They tell us they're not sure if they are done for the season yet or not but they hope to still have a few more skiing days.
