Nature of Call: Aggravated Assault : Knife Or Cutting Instrument
Blotter: Kattie Vincent, of Brookside Lot 99, called police in reference to a stabbing that had just occurred. When officers arrived
they found the victim, Jason Lemler, 19 YOA of the same address with several cuts to the top of his head and the Jason 's uncle,
the suspect, Terry Lemler, 44 YOA, lot 99 Brookside. Officers were told than an argument between two brothers woke the uncle
and he came out of his bedroom with two knives that appeared to be small swords and struck Jason on the head causing
lacerations. Terry was arrested and incarcerated for Aggravated Battery and transported to the ECSD jail . The victim was
transported by ambulance to IU Goshen Health and treated for non-life threatening injuries and released. He required stitches
and staples to close the wound.

    Wednesday afternoon, a seven-year-old boy was playing with his six-year-old friend on the 1000 block of South Ironwood, when an unknown male tried to lure the children to a nearby garage according to the South Bend Police Department.The children refused at which point the man exposed his genitalia. The children ran into a nearby home and the suspect left the area in a direction unknown to police.The man is described as having gray balding hair and wearing light colored shorts.More >>
