The Berrien County Sheriff's Department is hunting for two men who robbed a gas station in Berrien Springs early Tuesday morning.
Police say two people came into the BP gas station on M-139 near US-31 shortly before 3:00am. Each of them reportedly had a handgun. They demanded money from the clerk, and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.
The clerk called 911, but by the time police arrived the robbers were gone and no tracks could be found.
The first suspect is described as a black man between 5'8" and 5'10" tall. He had a thin build, and was last scene wearing a black hooded sweat shirt with blue jeans and wearing black and white athletic-style shoes. He was also wearing a black bandana around his face.
The second suspect is described as a white man, also between 5'8" and 5'10" tall. He had a heavy build, and was last scene wearing grey sweat pants low with blue underwear showing, and a blue hooded sweatshirt with some sort of white letter design on it. That suspect was wearing a blue and white bandana over his face.
