Lunch with Bertha the potbellied pig, that's all the motivation one elementary school needed to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and take part of B100's Quest for a Million Pennies.
Lincoln Primary Center in South Bend collected 16-hundred dollars for the cause and one kindergarten class alone collected over 200 bucks to make them the winners of a special pizza lunch with a visit from Bertha.
"I really was surprised and we really did very little as adults. This was mostly their efforts," says kindergarten teacher, Marianne Crane.
Mrs. Crane's winning class got to spend a portion of the day with their friend Bertha and even lined up to give her a kiss!
