#24 Notre Dame was playing #12 Marquette in the Big East Quarterfinal. The Golden Flashes shared the Big East Regular Season Title with Georgetown and Louisville. Marquette beat ND 72-64 in the regular season. Thursday night the Irish got down 17-4 but made a comeback to lead 29-24 at halftime. The Irish went on to win 73-65 to make their 6th Big East Semi-Final. The Irish will play Louisville Friday Night
Pat Connaughton led the Irish with 18 points. Jerian Grant had 17 points. ND is now 25-8 this season.
A lot of eyes were watching as the Irish wore non traditional lime green uniforms.
