And then there were four... Triton was the only area basketball team to advance to the Final Four. The Trojans advanced to Semi-State for the 4th time and they were looking to punch their ticket to the championship game next Saturday.
Triton faced Lafayette Central Catholic in Lafayette. The Trojans led 20-17 at half-time and pulled away in the second half to win 40-32. Senior Clay Yeo had 15 points. Triton will play Borden in the 1A State Championship game Saturday March 23rd at 10:30am. The Trojans also went to the state championship in 2007-08, 2008-09, 2010-11. Triton won the1A title in 2008.
