The Mishawaka Little League asked for help and they got it!
The South Bend Silverhawks held an equipment drive to help them recover from vandalism and the results are in.
The community dropped off bats, gloves, baseball hats, baseballs and helmets.
The team gave out two free ticket vouchers for every donation.
They'll be presenting everything to the league on Friday.
"I think overall, it just kind of shows the community is always willing to help out. Between that and the Silverhawks are giving a $500 donation, as well, so hopefully, that can help bridge the gap with some additional things that they need. But, I think the league is going to be set when it comes to baseball bats for this year," says Silverhawks President, Joe Hart.
This is the 2nd year in a row, a league has had this situation and both times, the Silverhawks have helped.
The Silverhawks are also donating a suite that the league can auction off for more money to help buy equipment.
