St. Joseph County Parks have wrapped up all their winter activities and are officially looking ahead towards warmer weather fun.
This season's weather meant they only had three good weekends for activities which cuts into their revenue. Luckily, they say they are used to fickle winter weather, so they don't depend on the revenue in the winter, it's just an extra bonus.
"Probably the most disappointing to us at St. Joseph County Parks is that we don't get to see quite as many people coming into the parks to do things like intertubing and cross country skiing," says Evie Kirkwood, director of St. Joseph County Parks.
Which is why she says they are ready for warmer weather activities to get started.
