Posted:

Snow descended onto Michiana again Thursday morning.  Dispatchers tell FOX28 that Berrien County roads were especially treacherous with black ice.

In southern Cass County Michigan State Police were forced to close Redfield Road between Bachelor and Gumwood due to a fatal car accident. Redfield Road was reopened around 11am.

A stretch of the westbound US-20 Bypass from Ironwood to 31 was closed briefly around 8:45am due to an accident.  It was cleaned up quickly.

Lake effect snow is continuing to come in this morning.  Follow these links for more information on Indiana and Michigan road conditions.
