A woman injured when a private jet crashed into her home and two others near the South Bend Regional Airport has been released from the hospital.
Memorial Hospital spokesman Edgar Diaz says Diana McKeown was released Wednesday evening. Neighbors said she lives in the middle of the three homes that were struck by the small jet Sunday afternoon. The plane originating from Tulsa, Okla., crashed into three homes, killing former Oklahoma quarterback Steve Davis and his friend, Wes Caves, who owned the plane.
Davis and Caves were the jet's flight crew. Two others who were aboard the airplane remain hospitalized.
The cause of the plane crash remains under investigation.
