CPR and chest compressions are some of the most important things you can do if someone collapses for whatever reason.
So Elkhart General Hospital is offering classes to help community members learn how to save a life.
There are many that jobs require CPR training including teaching and lifeguarding, but anyone can sign up to take a class to learn.
"My plea is that it doesn't take that long. maybe an hour to two hours to sit in and go through the understanding of how to recognize somebody in cardiac arrest." said Tony Hartman, an EMS educator for Elkhart General Hospital.
