Crews battle morning house fire in Cass County

Firefighters battled an early morning house fire in Cass County on Friday. The fire broke out around 5:00am on US-12 just west of Birch Road.

No injuries have been reported at this time.

The fire is out at this time, but crews are still working the scene. Eastbound lanes of US-12 were closed briefly but reopened before 8:00am.
