Triton was the lone Michiana team with the dream of winning a state championship still alive.  The Trojans took on Borden for the Class A title.

Triton fans cheering their team on as the Trojans run on the court.
Borden's Billy Kirchessenger drives it towards the basket, but kicks it back out to Michael Lynch who hits a jumper from the top of the key.
Triton to keep it as close as possible in the first half, Tanner Sheppard hits the tough one in the lane.
But the Trojans trailed 9-18 at halftime
After intermission though, it was time for the Clay Yeo Show.
 Yeo drills a three.
Later on, Yeo draws the double team, but then finds Cody Shively driving baseline for the and one.
How about Yeo from three point land one more time. He had 24 of his 26 points in the second half.
Despite cutting the lead to two a few times, Borden was able to keep the Trojans away as Jalen McCoy hits a three.
Borden wins the Class A State Title 55-50.
Adam Shear - FOX 28 Sports reporter said, "Just like they had all season long the Triton Trojans fought until the final buzzer, but this time they came up short losing  the state championship to Borden"
Jason Groves - Triton Head Coach "It's bittersweat. It's been a great experience. You know our kids fought, battled, and really got better as the season went along, but this is disappointing to end this way. At the same time, looking at the big picture we had a great season. It's just disappointing."
Clay Yeo - Triton Senior - 26 Pts, 6 Rebs - "I think of all my four years this has been the most enjoyable one. Just being in the Senior role and taking the leadership of these guys. What people don't understand is we're friends off the court too. We do everything together and I think that will continue when the seasons over. It's been a fun season, it didn't end up how we wanted it too, but it's been a great ride and extremely fun."
Seth Glingle - Triton Senior - 4 pts, 5 rebs - "At the beginning of the year we all know how that went, but we picked it up and it's been a great ride with all my friends. We dreamed of getting here since we were little and it was a dream come true, but we fell short."
Adam Shear "While they may not feel like it right now Triton gave themselves something to be very proud of this season."
