Wearing a seat belt is not dangerous if you're pregnant

Is wearing a seat belt dangerous if you're pregnant?

That is a belief that many young mothers have that a seat belt could hurt their unborn child.  Doctors say the belief is nothing more than a myth.  They say if your pregnant there is a proper way you should wear your seat belt.

"That the shoulder strap go through the breasts and then around the belly, as well as then the lap belt goes where it should go, so try not to, the issue is to avoid the belt through the center of the abdomen," says Dr. Enrique Infante an OB/GYN.

Doctors say its actually more dangerous to not wear your seat belt.
