More people filing taxes online

Many Americans have filed their taxes with ease this spring by moving online. Efficiency and accuracy are just a couple of the reasons online tax professionals say it's a good idea.

Rick Clayborn, Owner of Accutax, has seen the trend grow in recent years.  "The old fashion way, when we used to mail in tax returns, you had to wait 6 to 8 weeks for your refund. Now they're coming out in two weeks," says Clayborn.

Clayborn also believes that the economy is in much better shape compared to just two years ago, "A couple years ago just about every other person had unemployment on their tax returns. Maybe one in ten now have unemployment on their returns. Lot of folks who do have refunds are spending them on things that aren't necessarily day-to-day. That's what the government likes to see because it stimulates the economy."
