Final Week: The big day is here!

It is finally here!!  I can't believe that Dancing With Our Stars is tonight!  After two months of practice, we are going to put it all out there for everyone to see...while I am excited, I am really nervous!  I wish I wasn't quite so nervous, I have actually had butterflies in my stomach for the past two days.  But, I know tonight I will be able to cross off conquering the fear of dancing in front of people off of my bucket list, so that will feel awesome!
 
I really want to take this time to thank everyone who has supported me throughout this adventure!  I'm not just saying it to be polite, but it really means a lot to me to get feedback from viewers about my progress!  It has been hard but really great at the same time!  My partner Matt Smith from Dance Sport on the plaza has made this an incredible experience for me!  He is such a pro, he makes me feel like I am a ballroom dancer, too!  A big thanks to Danny & everyone at Stephenson's of Elkhart for providing such an amazing dress!  I feel a little self-conscious in it, but hey, this may be my only chance to do something like this and to wear a dress like that...so I may as well make the most of it!  It was so fun picking it out and getting your feedback on which dress you liked best, too!  I also really appreciate everyone at the South Bend Center for the Homeless, they have made a fundraiser a life changing experience for me AND the people who rely on the Center!  Way to go!  I would also like to thank my family at FOX 28!  Especially Ed Kral, Brenda Kardock & Adam Ziegler for getting on board with promoting "Alli's Tango Adventure!"  They were super positive and made this even more fun!!  And finally, thank you to everyone who voted for me!  I know $41 is not cheap, but your support means so much to me and to the homeless people of Michiana!  THANK YOU!!
 
Ok, time to make you all proud!  The show is tonight and I will be live from the performance at 10pm with highlights from my dance!

    Fatal motorcycle accident on US 20 in Elkhart

    A 42 year old Elkhart man was pronounced dead at the scene of a motorcycle accident Sunday just before 11 AM. The motorcycle driver was driving his Harley Davidson eastbound on US 20, when he crossed the center line near CO RD 13. He collided with a vehicle traveling west.Police reports say witnesses suggested the man may have been driving around 70-80 miles per hour. He was found not wearing a helmet.
