Excise officers say the complaints were about the Olive Street Mini Mart at Olive and Betrand. Wednesday evening, they arrested 32-year-old Jessie Heflin, 23-year-old Tyrell Loving and 23-year-old Manwinderjit Singh, the store's owner.

Heflin is facing preliminary charges of dealing marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school and cited for sale of single cigarettes and sale of tobacco with an expired tobacco-sales certificate.

Loving is facing a preliminary charge of dealing marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school.

Singh is preliminarily charged with maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana, dealing in drug paraphernalia and sale or possession of a legend drug (Viagra).

Excise police say South Bend Police officers assisted with the investigation.
