Parents staying close to school due to threat

Some parents are staying very close to their kids because of the school threat situation in Elkhart and Saint Joseph Counties.

Steve Hancock and Linda Glick are the parents of a second grader in Elkhart.

"Anytime there's a threat made to your child, you're gonna be concerned," says Glick.

Hancock and Glick plan on sitting in their car outside of Pinewood Elementary all day.

"We're just keeping an eye on things, more so then I'm not sitting at home paranoid I can sit here in front of the school paranoid," says Glick.

Although paranoid, they say the school and law enforcement has done a great job in handling the situation.

"They're patrolling like they should, they're being very attentive, they're checking all the doors making sure they're locked, making me feel at ease," says Glick.

When asked if they would be back Tuesday, and Glick remarked, "tomorrow, maybe we'll be here 'til noon."
