Five teenagers are in police custody following a weekend shooting in Goshen.

It happened at the corner of Middlebury and School Street at 9:30 Sunday night. Police say 24 hours after the shooting their investigation led to arrests.

The only adult suspect is 19-year-old Diego Ramos of Elkhart. He is being charged with criminal gang activity and attempted murder. Police say three 16-year-olds and one 15-year-old were also arrested. They are all being charged with conspiracy to commit murder, criminal gang activity and assisting a criminal.

According to Goshen Police, the three 16-year-olds, Abraham Delgado, Christian Bueno and Alejandro Bueno are being waived to an adult court because of the nature of their offenses.

The 15-year-old was being held at the Juvenile Detention Center pending his hearing Tuesday.

Four people were hurt during the shooting. Three of them were taken to a local hospital and have since been released. The other man refused treatment.
