Police find drug growing operation in Cass County


Cass County police say they've busted up an illegal marijuana grow operation in Dowagiac. 

On Wednesday, police searched a home on the 400 block of Walnut Street.  They say the home had growing marijuana plants and pot packaged for sale.  Police say they also found a loaded shotgun and othe drug paraphernalia.

A 38-year-old man was arrested and taken to the Cass County Jail on multiple charges.  His name has not been released, pending arraignment.  He is facing charges of Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Sawed Off Shotgun, Manufacturing Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana, and Maintaining a Drug House.
