Gov. Pence involved in traffic accident

Indiana Governor Mike Pence was involved in a traffic accident in Indianapolis Thursday.

Our partners at FOX59 in Indianapolis report Pence was leaving the Statehouse around 10:30 a.m. on his way to Fort Wayne when the crash happened at Pine and Vermont Streets. Indiana State Police are investigating the crash, but FOX59 reports it appears another car disregarded a stop sign.

The Governor's office says no one was seriously injured. Pence was not driving the state-owned vehicle.

Pence was able to continue to Fort Wayne in another vehicle.
