The man convicted of killing two people and getting into shootout with police last August was sentenced to a total of 160 years in prison on Friday.

53-year-old Johnnie Avance and 55-year-old Donald Paris, Sr. were killed on August 12, 2012.  A firefight involving Biffle and police broke out when officers arrived on the scene.  Authorities say Biffle came out of a house on Olive St. firing two handguns.  The officers returned fire, injuring him.

Brandon Biffle was convicted on March 21 of two counts of Murder, six counts of Attempted Murder and one count of Criminal Recklessness.  The two murder counts had a 60 year sentence each.  The other counts will be served concurrently with each other, adding another 40 years to Biffle's sentence.
