Two Michigan teens dead after crash on I94 in Berrien County


Two teenagers are dead after a Sunday afternoon crash in Berrien County. It happened at 4:37 on I-94 in Lincoln Township.

Police tell FOX 28 two 19-year-old women from Holland, Michigan were in a car headed west. The driver reportedly swerved to avoid hitting a piece of debris on the road and lost control before crossing the median and crashing head on into a semi.

The women were killed on impact and their identities are being held until family members are notified. We are told neither speed nor alcohol or dugs appear to be factors in the crash.

The truck driver, a 57-year-old Illinois man received only minor injuries and his truck did not sustain much damage either.
