Center for the Homeless asking for your help

The Center for the Homeless in South Bend is asking for your help supporting those most in need.  Administrators say they are critically low on important items to care for their summer guests.

They need disposable bibs, sunscreen, an inflatable swimming pool, arm
floaties, kids flotation swim suits, UPF 50+ Little Swimmers (size S), bean seeds (for planting),
mid-sized plastic animals, small sponges, Igloo Wheelie Cool 3-Quart Cooler, 5 oz. Dixie cups,
sunscreen, socks, new underwear, and boys and girls bathing suits.

"With the summer approaching, our kids are preparing to play outdoors and attend a variety of summer camps. Donations in these areas will be particularly helpful," explained Associate Director of Development Lisa Knox.

Center is also in need of twin-size mattresses, zippered mattress protectors, XL clothing, denture adhesive, and common toiletries.
