Families hire disabled 'guides' to skip Disney lines

Wealthy New York families have found a way to skip to the front of the line at Disney World.

They hire disabled tour guides.  That's according to social researcher Wednesday Martin.

He says he found out about the "underground network" while working on a book about New York City's Park Avenue elite.

Disney offers VIP tours and a FastPass service that allow people to avoid long lines.  Martin says it's cheaper to hire a black market handicapped guide.

A Walt Disney spokesperson said, "It is unacceptable to abuse accommodations that were designed for guests with disabilities."

Disney is "reviewing the situation and will take appropriate steps to deter this type of activity."
