Graduation crowd could hold up weekend traffic

Posted:

The University of Notre Dame and Saint Mary's College will be holding their graduation ceremonies this weekend, and that means thousands of extra drivers will be in Michiana. All that traffic could hold up your travels, so if you have to head by campus you'll want to plan wisely.

Saint Mary's will have commencement on Saturday at noon in front of Le Mans Hall. Their class of 2013 is made up of 374 students.

Notre Dame will also be having a number of ceremonies coming up on Saturday for individual programs.

  • 9 a.m. ROTC Commissioning Ceremony
  • 10 a.m. Graduate School Commencement Ceremony
  • 10 a.m. Mendoza College of Business Graduate Ceremony
  • 12:30 p.m. Law School Ceremony
  • 1 p.m. Service Send-Off Ceremony
  • 5 p.m. Commencement Mass at Purcell Pavilion
  • 6:30 p.m. Graduate Dinner

Notre Dame's undergraduate commencement ceremony will be at 9 a.m. Sunday at Notre Dame Stadium.
