Lunchtime concerts going all summer long in South Bend

Schools are letting kids out, summer is almost here, and Downtown South Bend is trying to get people outside during their work day.

They've kicked off their Red Table Plaza Lunchtime Concert Serious.

Every day, they feature different genres of musicians like. Caribbean, jazz, acoustic, Motown, and more. Executive Director, Aaron Perri says popularity for the event keeps growing every year.

The concerts are free and held at the corner of Michigan and Jefferson street. Performers will be out Monday through Friday from 11:45 AM until 1:15 PM.

On Fridays, the concert will feature a larger group. Those shows will take place in the Jon Hunt Plaza in front of the Morris Performing Arts Center.
