Charity's trailer stolen

A charity trailer was stolen Wednesday night stolen. The Niles Burn Run trailer was taken from the parking lot where it was parked. Burn Run board members said they realized it was stolen last night at their board meeting.

The trailer was used to store and haul everything for the Niles Burn Run, a motorcycle event that raises money to send children who are burn victims to camp.

Scott Roberts the Board president said this is a huge loss.

"I called the trailer manufacturer and they indicated it was gonna cost around $4,000 to replace, which is twenty percent of what we donated to the camp last year so it's a huge hit."

Brown Funeral Home has already generously stepped in and donated one thousand dollars towards getting a new trailer.

The group is asking for more donations from anyone who can. They've set up a donation page, to donate click here.

Anyone with information on the stolen should contact the Berrien County Sheriff's Office at 269.983.7141.
