Silver Hawks see spike in attendance

Posted:

Not only have the Silver Hawks won eighteen of nineteen games and secured a playoff spot, they are also reporting a spike in attendance.  Attendance is up approximately 20% over last season, despite three rainouts to date.

The Silver Hawks have already had 5 sellouts during the first half of 2013 compared to only 7 in 2012. They contribute the sellouts to their success on the field.

They will also celebrate their five-millionth fan to walk through the gates.  That lucky fan will win a trip to Disney World for four. The trip includes airfare, hotel accommodations for four days and three nights, and park passes compliments of the South Bend Silver Hawks and the South Bend Tribune. Currently the Silver Hawks are sitting at 4,895,999 in franchise history and are only 104,001fans away from this tremendous milestone.

The second half of the season will feature a newly added fireworks show set for June 27th to honor and celebrate the team winning the First Half Division Title.
