Ohio teen hurt in Cass County hit and run

An Ohio teenager is in the hospital after falling off his bike Sunday night, and police are looking for a suspect who may have caused the crash before taking off.

Thirteen-year-old Michael Toffler was on his bicycle on the side of the road new the corner of Kamp Kozy Street and Wilson Street at 5:50. That location is just southeast of the Cassopolis town limits and is on the banks of Diamond Lake.

Toffler said a red pick up truck turned the corner going very fast. He's not sure if the truck actually hit him or if it just knocked him off of his bike. But he says the driver did not stop.

Cass County Police are asking your help finding a suspect. If you know anything about this, give them a call at (269) 445-2481.
