Miller pulling away in Greater Elkhart Championship

The second round of the Greater Elkhart men's golf championship had to take a back-seat for one of it's competitors.  Eric Lebold was going to enter the day in 4th after shooting an opening round 73...but his wife went into labor at 4:30 Saturday morning, so Lebold had to withdraw from the tournament... he welcomed his first baby girl.

The second round moved to Meadow Valley in Middlebury Saturday.  The first group consisted of Jon Bonfiglio, Matt Dutton and Kyle Miller.  Miller and Dan Hood started the day tied for the lead at 1-under.  Miller shot even par Saturday, while Hood was 3-over 74.  Dutton shot 1-over 73.  And Bonfiglio is tied for 9th at 8-over.
Here's a look at the leaderboard through two rounds... Miller is the only player under par.  He is 1-under 143.
There's a two way tie for 2nd place Brody Fischer and Hood are at 1-over 145.
Brock Zeeb jumped 5 places after shooting a 70 on the day.  Zeeb is 4th at 146.
Dutton is 5th at 147.  The event wraps up Sunday at Christiana Creek.
Kyle Miller said, "The game has been pretty good.  I've been playing conservative, but hitting the ball alright.  Today wasn't quite as good as yesterday, but I came out with an even par.  Not feeling too much emotion yet.  That will come with the holes tomorrow."

Matt Dutton said,  "Looks like I'm 4 back from Kyle now.  If he's the leader, it looks like I'm going to have to go pretty low, because he doesn't miss very much."

Miller added,  "Tomorrow I have to be more aggressive, hopefully get it into the 60's.  A 68 or 69 would take the win.
